Conveyancing is the practice area where the money moves to a fixed date and everybody in the chain knows when. It is also the one targeted by the fraud named after the day of the week it happens on. This is the sector we have gone furthest into, and there is a whole page on what the SRA expects and when an incident has to be reported.

Distribution is unglamorous and unforgiving. Stock systems, orders going out, and a warehouse where the network either covers the floor or it does not. When the systems stop, the lorries do not, and the cost of an hour is measurable in a way that it is not in an office.
Site teams were waiting twenty minutes for a drawing to open. The connection was saturated, and the firm was paying for four separate lines that between them still could not carry the files the work is made of.
A leased line went in, the file server was replaced with SharePoint and a sync client that behaves properly when somebody is on a site with no signal, and the monthly bill came out lower than the four connections it replaced. How we look at connectivity.

Managed detection and response with a security operations centre reading the alerts around the clock, email security inside Microsoft 365, DNS and browser protection, vulnerability management, and email authentication so nobody can send invoices as you.
Certification that wins the tender
We hold Cyber Essentials ourselves and we take clients through it to both levels, Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus. The full cost is laid out at the start, including what the certifying body charges.

Yes. A warehouse floor is a different problem to a desk: coverage, scanners, printers and a network that has to reach the far corner. It is worth surveying rather than guessing, because adding another access point to a design that was never right is how most sites end up with patchy coverage.
