Looking for IT support in Bridgend?

Most Bridgend enquiries start with something that leaves the building. Mobiles, vans, a move to new premises, or a connection that was fine right up until it was not.

You can see the price before you ring

Three levels, and every part itemised.

Support is per user per month across three levels on the pricing page. Mobiles, connectivity and telecoms are priced separately and shown as their own lines on the same bill, so you can see what each part costs instead of one number covering everything.

The people who answer do the work

Four of us, and one number for all of it.

When the phones, the broadband and the IT all come from the same four people, nobody spends a morning working out whose fault it is. The person who answers is the person who fixes it. Who we are.

Who we look after here

What does a Bridgend client look like?

Two we can describe, and they show different halves of the job. A garage and vehicle recovery business covering most of South Wales, and an engineering firm that came close to paying a five figure invoice to somebody who was not their supplier. Nobody is named on this site until they have read what it says and agreed to it, so take the description rather than the name.

Recovery is a business where almost nobody is at a desk. Drivers are out across South Wales at all hours, jobs come in by phone, and the thing that has to work is the phone ringing in the right place and a mobile signal in a lay-by on the A48.

So the IT is the smaller half of it. Mobiles, connectivity and telecoms are the part that decides whether the business trades that day.

That is why we sell all four rather than just support. When the phones fail and the broadband is fine, or the other way round, the argument about whose fault it is happens on our time instead of theirs. One number to ring, and one invoice with each part itemised.

We have also moved them. Twice, through an office move and a building move, which is the point at which a business finds out how much of its setup was held together by where it happened to be plugged in. Lines, numbers, network, kit and the day itself.

Six years is long enough that we know their setup better than any document describing it would.

An engineering firm, and an invoice that was not theirs

A supplier’s mailbox was compromised somewhere up the chain, and an invoice arrived in the finance inbox with the bank details changed. It came from the right company, in the right thread, at roughly the right time of the month, which is what makes this one work when it works.

Impersonation protection flagged it before anybody had a chance to act on it, and the finance manager had been through our security awareness training and stopped to check rather than to pay. A five figure payment went to the supplier instead of to the attacker.

How the email side of this works

Worth knowing

Moving premises? Start earlier than you think

The thing that catches businesses out on a move is never the computers. It is the lines.

Connectivity has a lead time you do not control

A new fibre order at a new address can take weeks, and nobody finds that out until they ask. It is the first call on a move, not the last, and it decides your actual move date more than the removal van does.

Your number should follow you

A cloud phone system moves with you because it was never tied to the building. If your phones still sit in a cupboard on site, a move is the moment that costs you, and it is usually the moment people finally change it.

Do the network properly while it is empty

Cabling, switches and wifi are ten times easier in a building with nothing in it. Every shortcut taken on move week is still there three years later, and by then it is load bearing.

Somebody has to be there on the day

This is the point where on site support being included stops being a line on a brochure. It is not charged by the visit, so a move day is not an invoice with a number on it you were not expecting.

Secure AI

AI your staff can use without leaking the business

People are already pasting company information into AI tools, whether it is sanctioned or not. We put something in place that they can use safely, with the controls and the visibility that the free tools do not give you. We start by auditing what those tools would currently be able to reach inside your business, which is almost always more than anyone expects.

Questions

The things Bridgend businesses ask first

Do you come out to Bridgend?

Yes, and it is not charged separately. Unlimited remote and on site support is included from our Essential level upwards. Most things are faster to fix remotely, and when something needs a person we come out.

Can you do our mobiles and phones as well as the IT?

Yes, and for a business with people out on the road it is often the more important half. Business mobile, broadband, leased lines and cloud phone systems all come from us, priced separately but itemised on the same invoice as the support. The reason to buy them together is what happens on the day something breaks and two suppliers disagree about whose fault it is.

How much does IT support cost in Bridgend?

A fixed monthly fee per user, published in full on the pricing page across three levels, with no hourly billing and no call out charges.

We are moving premises. Can you handle it?

Yes, and we have done it for a Bridgend client twice. Ring us before you sign anything, because the connectivity order at the new address has a lead time nobody controls and it usually sets the real move date.

Do you provide cyber security in Bridgend as well as IT support?

Yes, and it is the other half of what we do. Managed detection and response with a security operations centre reading the alerts around the clock, email security sitting inside Microsoft 365, DNS and browser protection, and email authentication with SPF, DKIM and DMARC. All of that comes in at our Secure level rather than being sold as a separate contract. Security awareness training is included on Secure+ and available as its own line below that, and Cyber Essentials certification is priced on top when a client or a contract asks for it. What the security layer covers.

Next step

Ring us before you sign the lease

If you are moving premises, the connectivity order at the new address is the thing with the lead time on it and it decides your real move date. Everything else is a conversation about what you are running now.
